Masin Ouksel on Gong
Masin has been playing music since he was a child. The earth gong entered his musical stratosphere through Danielle Dvorak’s sound baths. For Masin, playing the gong is similar to listening to it. It’s vibrational tones and frequencies have the power transport you to a hypnotic space for growth and healing. How lucky we are 🙏💛
Guiding dance journeys is an expanding practice for Roman. He learned to dj in 2003, mixing records in his moms basement on borrowed equipment. In 2007 he became a facilitator of Kundalini Dance which showed him how music and sound has an effect on the energetic and emotional body. Since then he has been organizing and djing different manifestations of guided and ecstatic dances, in Chicago. His passion is to share rhythm and melody from cultures all over the world, and to present quality of production in music that baffles the mind and engulfs the body, with no shortage of warm and rich base.
