***Movement Playshop***
– Contact Improvisation Dance with Eve Chalom
Contact improvisation can be a mind blowing experience and help you to see yourself and the whole world differently. As a shared movement practice, there is a strong emphasis on listening, both to your internal experience and to what is going on around you with your dance partners and the rest of the space. Eve Chalom has been practicing contact improvisation for 7 years, and credits contact improvisation with teaching her how to be free. When she is not improvising, she is teaching or performing figure skating, and working on requirements towards becoming a licensed dance movement therapist.

***Dj Delights***
– Roman (Ecstatic Dance Chicago)
Our resident Dj will be playing a selection of uplifting music spanning many genres and tempos to keep you on your toes as you dance into the night. Latin, Brazilian, Irish and African grooves, along with inspirational lyrics, soaring melodies, and body rumbling rhythms will fill the space with playful, deep, and sensual energy.

***Musical Vibrations***
– Sound Journey Conductor and Live Guitar Jamming by Mark Florence.
Mark Florence is a multi-instrumentalist raised in the backwoods of Kentucky. He migrated to Chicago in 2002 to pursue a music career. Mark started playing the guitar at age 11 and after becoming familiar with the guitar he branched out onto other instruments such as bass, drums, banjo and various synthesizers. After arriving in Chicago, he developed a deep interest in the sitar and studied classical Indian music for several years. He currently performs with his fusion duo Trees and the Chicago based reggae band Kings in Waiting.
