– Cacao activation/blessing at 6:45 pm live via Zoom from Guatemala brought to you by your opening cacao host Mat Chandler, founder of Holy Wow Cacao in which this amazing cacao brand will be served during the dance.
Cacao is a powerful plant medicine, known for opening the heart which may help facilitate the flow of energy release during an ecstatic dance.
Cacao consumption is completely optional and is not required for participation. Cacao is not advised for anyone taking pharmaceutical anti-depressants, or anyone with epilepsy. It is also not advised for anyone with a heart condition to have a 40 gram or higher serving of pure cacao. – Immediately following is the opening community circle with discussion of guidelines, discussion of 5 rhythms, and community engagement led by Kohl Mayberry with help from Roman Borochin.
– After the opening circle DJ Ecstatic Dancer Extraordinaire (aka Kohl Mayberry) will be sharing 90 mins of ecstatic dance music in 5 rhythms style format. During our dance we will be invited to let go of judgement of ourselves and others, embrace whatever emotions arise, and feel free to move, shake, and groove however our bodies choose. We let go of verbal communication and step in to the liberating joy of dancing in commUNITY.
– When the music ends it will be followed by a sound healing from Paul Grosso for 45 minutes.
– Immediately after the sound healing will be the community closing circle.
