Ecstatic Dance Chicago Solstice, Outside 6/20

EDC New

You are invited to an extraordinary dance party, where you are free to be you, and dance and move any way you want.

Ecstatic Dance Chicago elevates culture by offering a space to cultivate freedom of expression, mindful connection, and build community.

Our outdoor, grassy dance floor is a welcoming space for barefoot dancing that is free from talking, photography, and alcohol. At this time you are asked to wear a face mask if you would like to participate.

In your dance you are invited to be curious, playful, sexy, meditative, adventurous, or anything you choose. There you can share with others or dance alone. Our participation guidelines make all this safe and easy. (Please find the Guidelines and Disclaimer at the end of the invite)

Disclaimer:
We do a great job of setting a safe space for your full dance expression. However this space is not perfect, and always has room for improvement. If you experience uninvited engagement, a barrage of invitations from someone who you have said no to, or uninvited intentional touch on the dance floor please speak up, either to the person who is breaking the guidelines, or to one of the Dance Guides who can take care of the issue with compassion and discretion. You can also contact EcstaticDanceChicago@gmail.com at anytime to let us know about your experience and we will do our most to achieve a resolution. Your voice is important to us and it helps so much to strengthen our container. When you take care of your self you help us take care of each other.
